At what point did you select the name that you actually gave your baby? Before you were pregnant, during pregnancy, after delivery?

When Did You Decide Baby Names?

High School

I decided on my son's name when I was in high school. Funny thing was, 8 years later it was the only name my husband and I could agree on.

When Did You Decide Baby Names?

Had a girl's name picked out, BUT...

I could tell that i was having a girl, i knew it! I loved that name Kallista Faye, and that was that... then, the u/s day came and i was informed that my "little girl" was in fact, a boy... in tears i cried and cried, i was depressed for days, and i could never think of a boy name, i was 38 weeks preg, and in labor at the hospital, kicking myself in the butt b/c i did not have a name for my angel... however i had a name in the back of my mind, and when he was born, i knew i had to give him a name, so Christopher 'Zaiden' it is!!! but next time, i should really be more prepared... When Did You Decide Baby Names?

baby's name

when i was 9 yrs old i always said if i was to have a little girl then i would call her skye. and that still stand today.
i never really thought i would have a boy as for 14 yrs in my family it has been girls all the way.
But my hubby said to think of a boys name when we found out i was pregnant. We decided on harry as it was a name we both liked, till one day i woke hubby up at 3 am to tell him i didnt like the name harry any more. as u can guess he was not happy to be woken.
That day i said that i wanted a name before i went to sleep as i want my little butterball to have a name already for when i found out what sex i was having. by bed time still no name. we was watching the sweeney when the name REGAN popped up and that was it i got my name books out and had a read. and there it was in black and white REGAN- LITTLE KING. and that is what my son is my little king after being told for yrs i would never have children. when we had our sexing scan and was told we were having a boy i know that the name would go. i gave birth on boxing day 06 and when i look at him i know he doesnt look like a harry. he looks like my little king regan.
