Living with PCOS

My periods are NEVER regular ... I have to take meds ( provera) just to get a period... on top of that My husband and I have been trying for 4 yrs to conceive.. My ob/gyn told me I had PCOS... I was put on Metformin and Clomid... 4 yrs and still nothing... I have always wanted kids and my husband does as well.. My husband is in the National Guard and may be deploying again.. Nothing would be greater than to find out we are pregnant b4 he has to leave... ugh...

So scared

I am only 20 years old amd have been told by two doctors that I MIGHT have endometriosis. Ive had one miscarriage and that was in march of this year; I have been trying to ever since with no luck. I know Im only 20 years old, but the thought of me not being able to have kids reaally scares me; with me being so young and all. Byt I guess i will have to keep the faith and trust in god.

Hoping and Praying

I concieved my first daughter when i was 16, 1 month after conception i had multiple cysts burst on my ovaries. I was never informed of what cysts were, or what they could do to your body, I was led to believe it was a one time thing, and it was over. I found out I was pregnant 1 month after this incident and soon forgot about the cysts all together, But as the years started ticking off my periods became alot more frequent and painfull, not only during my period but for about 85%-90% of the time. I had 2 miscarriages at the ages of 19 and 20, And attempted to concieve with no luck at 21. 4 months ago i had my first laporoscopy and was told 3 months ago that everything looked fine, but because of the severity of my endo, he can't comment on whether or not I should be able to concieve again. My Husband and I started trying right away, I just don't know if I can handle the dissappointment if i am unable to have any more children.

Conceiving with Endo

I have endo since I was 17. I finally had a laproscopy when I was 20 and I conceived 3 months later for my now 8 year old daughter. I was alone for those 3 months though so I probably could've gotten pregnant right away. I now have 4 children,(1 miscarriage too) and I am looking forward to having one more (hopefully by spring 2010). I had a little bit of difficulty conceiving the baby that I lost. It took us 5 months but when I quit trying that is when it happened. I wish you lots of luck. Quit trying and you may be surprised !!

I've had endometriosis for almost 2 years now. I had surgery when i was 22, my docotr told me that everything looked and should be fine for me to conceive! Well i've been trying any and everything for almost 6 straight months i mean im really giving it all i have!! With no luck! I mean im trying to stay positive to get positive, lol. But i have never heard of anyone with endometriosis getting pregnant on their own! Has anyone out there known of anyone who has?
