Positively Period
Talk menstrual cycle and we talk lots of negatives: period days, cramps, the PMS blues...
But is there anything, or even many things, that you like about your monthly cycles?

I like this about my periods!!
ya....none of my close friends got theirs yet...and they look up to mee and ask me all sorts of questions....thats all i like!!!

My cloth pads
I like getting out my fun looking, soft, cloth menstrual pads. They make me comfortable.

Positively Period
The first - a relief!
I was a very late starter, so I spent years feeling quite anxious as to when I would get my first period. The first, at more than 15 years old, was a little bizarre, but such a relief! I finally knew that nothing was wrong with me and that I was no longer the only person in my year to be without a period. I could relate to my friends' discussions and join in. It felt great!

Periods give me hope
I had an operation a few months ago and had a side effect which meant my peiods stopped for a few months. My husband and I are TTC so it's been a real worry that my periods might be irregular or stop altogether. Now my period has started again, it gives me hope that we can keep TTC. Hooray for periods!!!

I get peace when I have my period
I like when I get my period because my little brother and boyfriend (we all live together...lucky me, I get to live with two sloppy guys!) get out of my way and leave me alone. I get really crabby, emotional, achy, and pretty much all over miserable. When I have my period, they pretty much do what I say; especially when I want one of them to go to the store for chocolate or leave me alone when I just want to lay in bed all day.

My man makes this week worth it
When I'm grouchy, the hardest thing to do is be thankful. This last month though I realized that I have a lot that I should be thankful for. I like the way my man pampers me on my period. He shows up with chocolate, he rubs my back and basically treats me like a queen. It helps knowing I'm so loved and cared for.
