So Long Period Stains

Who hasn't had a period stain or two along the way? From undies to fav jeans, period stains can be a royal pain. But happily they're often non-fatal and can be mostly/completley removed.

What period stain removal strategies have you tried and what works best for you?

Peroxide works GREAT!!!!!!

I read once in a news paper to try Hydrogen Peroxide. It actually works!!!! Now when I have a little accident I go and pour a little on the stain and it takes it away immediatley. I even tried it on stains that was two months old. It vanished!!! Now I live by that stuff. Whoever tried it first was a smart person :)

**What do you think????**

what I have tried was taking water and AJAX and brushing it out using something with bristles. Do not use a brush but use something that you would use to wash dishes; the green part that is on the opposite side of a sponge. When the spot disappears, proceed to throwing it in the washer machine

Peroxide leads the way

I have had the best of luck using Hydrogen Peroxide. Of course, anything you use will work best if you do it immediately after staining, but it isn't always an option. But get a bottle of peroxide and a flat (no fancy bristles) toothbrush and just soak and scrub!

Disposable underwear

I have found the easiest way to deal with LEAKS is through the use of disposable underwear. Some years ago, Kimberly Clark came out with a product called Kotex protective underwear. It was simply a moisture proof disposable panty. Unfortunately likely because of vanity, sales did not support this wonderful product.

After it?s discontinuation, I missed these for a few years until I learnt of a similar but better product, Poise protective underwear. Not only did they have a moisture proof backing, they were absorbent as well. Although designed for incontinence, they work wonderful for menstruation. Thin and discrete, nobody will know and you have the best protection ever.
