TTC After Birth Control

Did you recently -- or some time ago -- come off birth control to TTC? What birth control were you using? Have your periods/cycles returned to your normal? Are you waiting a few months, or trying right away?

TTC after BC - Help!

I recently got off my BC after 4 years and just now starting to have a predictable/regular period. My husband & I would love a little bundle of joy but we just can't get this TTC down. I wasn't worried at first because I had just come off the pill, but now I have been off for 6 months and still nothing. We would really like to start our family, but it's just not happening. I did however learn that I have a tilted uterus, small ovarian cyst and endometriosis, could that be causing me problems in TTC?? Should I do surgery to have all this removed? My doc said it shouldn't really cause me any problems but she could remove it and then us continue to try. Anyone out there got any comments/help/experiences with this?

BC - regular cycle in three months!

I had been on birth control for 15 years and went off two months ago. My obgyn told me that although some women need a little time for their bodies to readjust, the average woman is back to normal in just a few cycles. I found that to be just the case. My first two cycles were too long/too short and I wasn't getting any indication that I was even ovulating. The third cycle was right on track. I ovulated on day 15 and am now just waiting to see if we did everything right. I have been waiting three months in hopes that I won't be delivered any bad news by a period knocking on my door, and the waiting game truly stinks. I can't imagine having to wait much longer. To those of you who have been waiting much longer than I have, keep your chin up and I hope you get your good news soon!! :)

Frustrated and frightened

I was taking BC for around 6/7 years through my teens, and stopped May 2009. We intially were careful for the next 3 months but a year on we are still no closer. Iv been testing for OV the last 2 months and Im not getting any signs of OV happening. We are also waiting resluts from hubby's tests too and waiting and waiting! Im so scared we won't be able to have a baby we're 26 but feel time is trickling away. My close friend finds it very easy to get pregnant but has just MC her 7th time when will we get a break! I pray that both me and my hubby and my friend get some good news soon. If you have any advice please share it. The docs in the UK won't test me until we have been TTC for 18months with no luck. I want answers and instructions not to have to wait another 6 months before we can get help and advice.

TTC - Possible Infertility

So i was on and off birth control for about 4 years (meaning i wasnt taking it as instructed) I was on the patch, then the pills, and then the shot. I have been off birth control for 3 years. Me and my boyfriend have been TTC for the past 3 years unsuccessfully. I just started tracking my period for the last year so that I can know when my ovulation days are. Still unsuccessful while trying during most fertile days. Should I be alarmed of infertility?

CD 30 first month off pill

This is my first month TTC off the pill. I have been paying very close attention (probably too close) to the changes in my cycle. I now have myself very confused. I seems as though I have had EWCM three different times this month. First time around CD 18, then on CD 26, and now I am on CD 30 and I really think I have it. I wonder though if there is a change in CM after the BD with hubby? I have no sign of AF and am so impatient I took a test today?BFN as I expected. Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it even possible to ovulate on CD 30? I think I just need to let my body get back into its natural rhythm post BC.
