Period after D&C for TTC

Hi, I was on Birth control for 10 years.. We came off BC in December 2009 after the period.. and I never got another period.. We got pregnant with our first in Jan.. But we miscarried in March, due to a blighted ovum. We had a D&C March 16, now I am pushing almost 6 weeks after and I have had no signs of a period!! I want to TTC again but the doctor said we need to wait for at least 1 period after the D&C!! But it just wont come!! Has anyone else had this problem after a d&c how long did it take for your period to come back?

soooo frustrated...

Hi, I am soooo frustrated today, I just started my period again, we have been TTC since March 2009, I got pregnant Aug 2009 and miscarried Oct 22, 2009. We started TTC right away and every month I have my period. We are just waiting for a referral to a fertility specialist now, I don't know how long that will take. I just feel like I am getting older and time is ticking away. When we first decided to have a baby I was 38 now I'm 39 but my birthday is in August. I feel so hopeless and every month I get my period I get so depressed and sad and I think of the baby we lost, if there was anything I did wrong. I don't know if there is anyone out there in my same predicament. Also everyone around me is having babies and I just get so frustrated seeing them with their bellies growing, I try to be happy for them but really I am kinda mad I guess I shouldn't feel like that I have no one to talk to about this stuff, and its frustrating. My b/f and I are also argueing alot about not getting pregnant, blaming each other and everything. I don't know if I should just give up and accept the fact that we are not having a baby.

2 miscarriages, and TTC. WORRIED THOUGH.

I miscarried for the first time at 17. (Twins) I found out when i was about 5 weeks pregnant. (Just a hpt) I got all the symptoms and they continued through out my pregnancy. ( Morning sickness, ect.) When i was 3 and a half months pregnant I had brown discharge. Went to the ER and after 7 hours of test, they FINALLY did an Ultra sound. Only to find out, there wasnt a heartbeat. I had actually lost the babys at 5 or 6 weeks and the sac grew to the size of a 3 and a half month sac. (My body wouldnt process the miscarriage) I then had to have a D&C.

My second pregnancy was 8 months later. It ended around 7 weeks, and I miscarried naturally. It was a blighted ovum. My DR said that i was probably because the egg attached itself to a thin part of my uterus that didnt heal all the way from the D&C.

My husband and I are trying again. But im worried that its going to happen all over again. Im worried that the DR who did my D&C messed it up some how and I'll never beable to carry a child to term.

Has anyone else experienced this? Have you had a miscarriage after a D&C and later on gotten pregnant?

Trying Again. Maybe

It is so hard to get back up and start trying again. I think we are ready, or maybe we will just continue to take it easy and do it the relaxing way. ..... ???

After two back to back miscarriages in 2009 , I am just so scared. I know we should keep trying because we want this so much, because I can't lose hope, because i know our time will come, because with our luck we need to take advantage of every chance we get!

I try not to think about the miscarriages. I try not to think about it how far along i would be. That is just torture! I must move forward and think about today and the future. yesterday has come and gone.

Please give us a healthy baby. A BFP with a take home baby. :-)

early miscarriage

I had a miscarriage at six weeks. I only knew I was pregnant for three weeks, such a small amount of time to fall in love with this precious being. As I wasn't far along the physical effects of the miscarriage were fairly minor; however the emotional effects have taken much longer to heal. Not a day goes by that I don't think about that tiny being, and I find myself still counting down the days to my due date. Were I still pregnant I would have three months to go. We've been trying since then, and no luck yet. I know that what I have gone through is trivial compared to some, and I wouldn't wish a miscarriage on anyone. Good luck to all!
