Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Trying to conceive

I am serious when i say everyone around me is pregnant. Every month or so, one of my friends is telling me they are. Please don't get me wrong, i am so happy for them. I have wanted a baby for 6 years now. It started when i was 19 which is young, but you can't help how you feel. I have tried with my husband for over 2 years now. It has been very frustrating at times but I just have to put my trust and faith in The Lord and know that he will give me a child!

Hmm.. to test or NOT to test?!

Hello Ladies! So today I pose a question to those of us who are BEYOND frustrated over countless negatives... When you've been trying for months to get pregnant and are always testing before your period is due because it is SO hard to wait, when do you stop testing and wait or will you continue to test even through the heartbreak of possibly seeing ANOTHER negative result? I'm at a crossroad dolls =).Needing another woman who is TTC and TTM (Testing Too Much!) to help me decide!! Love luck and bumps to all of you!

BFP now a BFN

I am devastated once again. I was sure this month it was going to finally really happen. I was going to get to tell people that I am pregnant. Tested on Sunday. Got 2 BFP, stupid me tested again on Wed. 2 BFN. should have known better. Last night flo started. I will be 41 next month. Lately my cycles have been very short. My Dr. said I would probably need something to get preg & stay preg. Looks like he is right. went through pretty much the same thing 3 1/2 ish years ago. My due date would have been Oct. 6. to top it all off my BF still isn't totally on board about the baby issue. Which means that because mother nature needs help i will probably have to do it all on my own. having a hard time coming to terms with the whole sperm donor. I want my child to know it's daddy. Times running out & I am overwhelmed. I'm terrified that it's never going to happen. I'm tired of being the outsider looking in. Is it too much to ask for one baby of my own to love? It's so hard not to feel like a failure when it seems so easy for everyone around me.

Baby dust frustration

My husband & I have been trying for over two years to have a baby. We have been seeing a fertility specialist. I am getting frustrated b/c during the months that we have been trying something seem to go wrong lately. Last month I didn't ovulate. Today I went in for my third IUI with first round of clomid. I was really excited because I was ovulating from both ovaries this time around. This we hoped would increase our chances. I left disappointed after the doctor told me my husbands sperm specimen was really low. Now, today starts my two week wait with little hope. He suggested next time definitely IVF since the last two round IUI my husband sperm count was low. Since I have insurance, I wish IVF would have been suggested from the beginning.
