Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

I am so hopping to get pregnant! AF arrived today :( been trying for almost 2 yrs. Had a miscarriage 2 months ago so I guess my body's not ready yet. Dr seems to think nothing is wrong either before or after miscarriage so here's to being preggers next month?!

Why does age, or amount of time trying matter?

It is very frustrating for my husband and I, we've been trying for a baby for little over a year now. Every month we are waiting patiently only to find out that we are never pregnant. Its so depressing for me because I want a baby so bad. I misscarried three years ago and havn't been able to get pregnant since. What is upsetting me the most is that the doctors we've been going to see don't seem to think that we need any help. They say that we are both so young, and it will eventually happen, it doesn't seem right that you have to be over a certain age and have been trying for a certain amount of time before anyone will help you.

TTC is stressful

I am 24, and my husband is 25. We have been married for almost a year, but been together for four. In that four year span we have done nothing to prevent pregnancy, but there was none. I didn't think it a too big deal, but now that we are married and what not I want to have a baby so bad. My obgyn put me on progesterone, and that worked to help me have a proper period, but now I really want to have a baby. I am not sure how to cope with these feelings. In the last year we have done nothing to prevent having a baby, but there has been nothing, and now I spend every month wondering. I have had one miscarriage when I was 19, and so I have spent time wondering why I could get pregnant then but not now. It is so stressful!

A Million Questions

I am 23 and have been TTC for 18 months. My periods are always crazy so I never really know when they will come. I have gone 2 months without a period. I was getting excited thinking that "maybe.." but ofcourse I wasn't. It seems like every where I look I see pregnant women. I mean even ALL of my girlfriends are pregnant. I've gone through the entire mentality of "maybe there's something wrong with me," but as far as I know everything is okay. This entire process of TTC is so depressing.

And the one thing I hate most is seeing these news reports of new mothers dumping their new born babies in trash bins, parents not taking proper care of their children, parents abusing their children and teenagers getting pregnant when they aren't TTC.. "it happend at a drunken party.". Why is it that the women like us that want to concieve more then anything this world has to offer are the ones with the heart break? Why do we have to endure this? I know I am young and I have plenty of time but when someone knows it's right and they are more then ready (money wise, maturity, loving relationship, a partner that wants to have a child with you as a sign of your love and to know that feeling of parenthood) 18 months is 17 months too long.

See An Endo - Also - Spotting after PC Test?

I am 32, and my husband is 38, and we've been TTC since we were married in November 06. I finally spoke up to my GYN in May, and was told that not having a "blip in the radar" within 18 months was indicative of a problem and that we needed to see a Reproductive Endocrynologist. Turns out I don't produce enough progesterone, so I am now getting treatment for this and we have just entered our first week of "homework" - TTC under doctor's orders. I just want to tell those of you who's doctor's are telling you not to worry - especially the poster who is so close to my and my husband's ages, GET A SECOND OPINION. It could be nothing at all, but it could be the difference that gets you a baby.
Also - I do have a question about something I've just had done, called a Post Coital Test, and have been spotting all day - she just used an aspirator to remove some CM from my Cervix, but I'm wondering if it is related or if maybe I am spotting from ovulation? (this hasn't happened to me before) Has anyone had this experience?
