Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Frustrations

My husband and I have been trying for nearly two years unsuccessfully. We went through all the relevant testing and apparently have no 'reproductive' issues noted. We are both healthy
twenty-seven year olds according to my geno/fertility specialist. I have a feeling I am not ovulating every month and thus have just finished my third month of Clomid, at 100mg x 5 days. I have yet to find out if this month was indeed our time. My frustration is the 'unexplanined infertility' that we are experiencing. I would rather have a reason, than nothing (seemingly) at all. And of course it always seems that everyone around us is conceiving without difficulty, asking, "when are you having children?" I have since learned that this question is quite intrusive and would never think to ask anyone after dealing with this ourselves. Duly noted.

Bless your heart!

I am so sorry to hear about your miscarraige. I totally understand as I too can not seem to carry past the first trimester. My ob said that miscarraige can not be prevented or caused by anything that you do, its just the way things are. I have heard this from several doctors and I got a referral last month because I miscarried Jan 31st of this year and the this doctor told me that I have a low progest. and that could be a factor. Also he did some test and found that I have Hughs Syndrome...which I knew I had since I was around 12.
I will keep you in my prayers. I know how frustrating this is and how sad you may feel inside. I wish for you a bundle of joy and a healthy pregnancy. Lord have mercy on your precious little heart. I hope all works out better for you!

Frustrations

I had a difficult pregnancy first time round. I thought it would be wise to wait until trying again, so, when my son was three we thought it would be a good time to try again (after getting potty training etc out the way) however, when after 12 months I still hadn't conceived I thought it would never happen! I finally fell pregnant last July only to find out at my routine scan back in September that there was no heartbeat. We waited another two months for things to settle back down but now 6 months later I'm still not pregnant. I know that six months isn't a long time but it is frustrating when everyone around you is pregnant and they keep asking whether you are

Multiple Miscarriages, impatient to get answers

Just experienced third miscarriage. Am approaching 39. Seem to succeed in getting pregnant, but can't get beyond the first trimester. Was supposed to have my first appointment with obgyn last week when the miscarriage took place. I kept the appointment and he was super nice. He will help me to do some testing to find out what's causing these, and hopefully it's something that can be 'easily' treated (like hormone supplements). But the follow up to start this work isn't until the end of the month. That's ages to wait.

Can't conceive after miscarriage/no menstruation

My husband and myself have been trying to conceive since April of 2006. We finally became pregnant in August of 2006, but miscarried in October of 2006. Ever since then it has been so frustrating to conceive. I went almost a whole year before I started to get my period again. I have been taking prenatal vitamins and doing everything that the doctor tells me to do and it is just not working. I am fed up and to the point where I just want to quit.

Trying to get pregnant just started fertility drugs, PRAYER!

OK, so everyone around me is getting pregnant. 2 of my friends AND my sister are pregnant!!! My brother-in-laws "girl friend" just had a baby and she doesn't even know how to take care of it and acts like she doesn't even want it. This is what makes me the most mad! I would take any baby God gives me, but these mothers who act like the babies are more of a burden then a blessing just ticks me off!! LUCKILY my doctor just started me on Clomid. I am taking Provera too. I feel myself ovulate each month "it" just doesn't take. The doctor says "It's baby time" and I want to be hopeful but I don't want to get my hopes up. If you guys are the praying type please say a little prayer for my eggs! I really want a baby more then anything. I am 28 years old and my husband and I have 3 dachsunds who we call our children and I love them very much, but I pray God will bless me with a child of my own species!
