Orange Juice and Sugar

This is an old Remedy that my grandma still uses on us teenagers. Everytime we cramp she comes and brings SUGAR AND ORANGE JUICE. put a tablespoon of Sugar into a glass full of Orange Juice. It should work within the hour. I am telling you it works.

GINGER

GINGER.

My mom used to give it to us all the time, just 1 ml of ground ginger in about half a cup to a cup of warm water. DONT SIP. Drink it all at once, and FAST. it tastes horrible, but works every single time. Doesn't matter how severe.

Heat Is Great!

I've suffered from cramps since I was 11 yrs old. I've sought professional help for the pain. I have found for myself and for alot others that heat really helps cramps. I usually take long hot baths, showers, and use my favorite red hot water bottle. I asked my aunt what can I use to retain heat for long PERIODS and her answer was rice. Pour rice into a sock and microwave because rice holds heat.(Please be careful and use towel to cover the skin).

solutions?

Chili cheese fritos. Really, my doc prescribed a high doseage of ibuprofen. Like I'm supposed to remember the week before start taking it and continue until the second or third day of my period. Things is, I have two kids, I put things away and forget where I put them then next thing I know it's period time and too late to start taking them. I end up taking motrin and midol nonstop for days. they come back though. It sucks.
