TTC After Birth Control

I was on the Mirena IUD for 5yrs. after it expired I decided to try the pills so I could stop bc whenever my husband and I wanted to. Well in October I started the pills for the 1st time in 7yrs so we were cautious the 1st month. November I got my 1st normal cycle and I started my new pack on time. I missed 2 pills in the 2nd week and doubled up and caught up like I was suppose to. I didn't come on my cycle on time, it came for 1 day, November 29 and I didn't start a new pack until the sunday after it came again for 2 days, December 20. After taking pill #6 in the 1st week, we decided to try for a baby so I stopped taking the pills that day. Am I protected against getting pg cuz of those 6 pills? or is it possible for me to conceive this cycle?

I had a tubal 10 years ago, I have been having pregnancy signs, although I have not missed a period, They are different however they are spotty and have only lasted two days, HAs anyone evr gotten pregnent afte a tuble???

I have gotten off the IUD in aug we have been trying to have a baby but my period has been irregular since getting off this birth control. I norm come on 4-5 days but since I have gotten off this it varys. in Nov I came on for two days then went off and never came back on. I was late that time as well, I was due to come on on the first of dec or around there, I did not come on but the symptons started. I think I am coming on now but its like spotting. How soon will I be able to have another baby and why is this taking so long?

I'm new to this site but wanted to see if anyone has had same experience as me. I came off BC in June this year, we have been TTC every since, more so since August, but my periods are just so irregular I'm finding it difficult to pinpoint my ovulation dates. I've been on BC for around 14yrs so I don't remember how my cycles used to be but they go between 23-31 days in length. My AF starts with very very light spotting for 2-4 days and can drag my period out for up to 9 days!!!! Its sooooo frustrating becos the doc won't help yet, but i'm starting to think theres something wrong.

Ive used the OPK which pinpointed ovulation CD17/18 which seems a little late. Anyone else been messed up since coming off the pill??

I had my IUD removed 2 days ago. According to mymonthlycycles i was due to be ovulating on that day and not to start AF until Dec 22nd. well last night i started what i can only assume is AF. Its heavier than what i have experienced while having the IUD and is accompanied by major cramps (which i did not experience with the IUD in) . I had a regular 32 day cycle every month while i had the iud with some random spotting in between. What i am experiencing now is not spotting. Im confused about if this is considered AF or if this is a normal thing that happens after removal. My dr told me that my husband and I could start ttc baby 4 immediately after removal. He did not mention any bleeding that would occur prior to removal but did mention that it make take a few months for cycles to get back on track. Does anyone have any advice as to if this is normal or not?

Hi there, i have 3 children already from previous relationship. Im 38 and my new partner and i decided to try for a baby as he has no kids and wud dearly love one of his own. I had Merina removed after a year and was told we could try sraight away and fell pregnant during 3rd cycle. Unfortunately pains and bleeding started when i was nearly 10wks but when they scanned me i was told that the baby had died at 5 weeks and that i was having a 'missed misscarriage'. I had never even heard of this before and was totally shocked as i still had very strong pregnancy symptoms. Well that was back in Oct and now on 2nd period since the m/c so going to test for ov this cycle and pray that we get lucky. I have no idea if using Merina had anything to do with m/c, is it possible that the lining of my womb was too thin? Would be grateful for any feedback - so scared of same thing happening again!
