TTC After M/C

Are you trying to conceive after one or more miscarriages? How long did you (or will you) wait until TTC again? Who or what has been helpful to you during your difficult time: faith, the support of your partner/friends/families (or did you find them unable to relate?), others who you now found out also m/c'd...

TTC After M/C

First cycle after miscarriage, when did I ovulate?

This is my first cycle after something like 145 days (pregnancy then loss, then recovery).

My ovulation signs:
positive OPK test: Nov 17, Nov 18
eggwhite: Nov 17, Nov 18, Nov 19
Pelvic pain around ovaries Nov 18 on right side (when I conceived I had similar on the right side and the ultrasound tech told me she could see that egg came from the right side).
Had a small dip then rise on 11/17 and a bigger one on 11/19

I've never known how to choose the specific ovulation day, which day do you think... 11/17, 11/18 or 11/19? Not TTC yet, waiting one more cycle but just practicing the tracking.

last try before going private, luck needed!

Hi everyone!

I've posted on here before but just wanted to update you in our journey!

Me and hubby have been married coming up to 3 years. We've been ttc near enough ever since.

I suffered my 5th early mc beginning September at 7 weeks. My worst loss was last September a mm at 11 week ended in a d n c!

Were getting really annoyed and frustrated that im getting pregnant pretty quickly but not keeping it. The nhs wont run any further tests (I had bloods done last year that come back fine) be use im only 23 and can get pregnant!

Were giving ttc one last shot this is the first month properly ttc after last mc! If this little one doesn't stick or grow as it should were going privately!

Wish us luck on our ttc journey. Fingers crossed next time will be the time for us and all of you poor ladies out there

Xx

another month...

Hello, I lost a baby boy at 17 weeks on January 12 this year. Horrendous experience and my heart goes out to anyone on this thread. I am already mum to 2 wonderful girls (10 & 8) but have cervical incompetence due to a D&C after a mm in 2004, as it turns out. We've been ttc again since March but haven't been blessed again yet. Feeling very down this evening as somehow thought this month might have been it as had +ve ovulation etc but have started spotting this evening, day 24 which is normal for me. We have friends coming for supper tomo and she is pregnant. It seems so simple for everyone around us right now and hate myself for feeling jealous. Sorry to rant xxx

TTC After M/C

Ready to ttc but no cycle yet!!!

Good morning everyone. I miscarried on May 18th and had a d & c on May 19th. That was a very sad time for me. I have a 10 yr old daughter and my hubby and I had been trying for 9 yrs to have another baby. When I finally got pregnant, I miscarried. I know God doesn't make mistakes so it was all in his will. However, we're ready to start ttc again. My problem is the fact that I'm 38...not a spring chicken at all, but I'm willing to give it another try. I don't know if it's just me, but I feel the desire to want to become pregnant again. It's almost like a craving that I have but I don't want to become obsessed with trying. Does anyone understand what I'm saying? My question to anyone out there who has been thru this is, "how long did it take to get your cycle?" I'm very eager to start trying. We have been bd since my 2 week check up when my dr gave me the ok to have sex and it has been at least twice a week since then. I heard that you count the day of your d & c as the first day of your cycle and it can come between 4-6 weeks from then. I'm looking for answers and suggestions.

Keep your head up

I am 30 yrs old and have miscarried for the first time on May 3 2011. I have two children ages 10 and 12. I have waited for my first cycle(per my doctors advice) and am now TTC again. I had a D&C done because of a missed miscarriage, which means the baby died but the body fails to reconize this and continues with the pregnancy. I was 9 wks but the baby measured 8wks 2 days. I got my period on June 6 2011. It took me three months to get pregnant with this baby. One thing that I learned TTC is that if you relax and let nature take its course you will get pregnant faster. I had a fertility monitor, charted, took fertibella, and I gave up on all this and I found out I was pregnant the next month! Don't give up! Relax. Its ok to cry, and think why me? Something I found helpful in grieving for my baby was a memorial book. It was a way of remembering the baby, the happy times(even though it was a short pregnancy) a place for a letter to the baby, and much more. Its called In the company of Angels, and I got it at Remembering Our Babies.com. Trying again is scarey but with support from my husband, doctor, and friends and family I'll make it through. Is it easy to get pregnant after a M/C D&C? How long does it take?
