Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Long time desire, very frustrated

The one thing I have always wanted to be since I was a young child, was to be a mother. I was married young and I was his third wife. He said he wanted to have another child (would have been his fifth), but he really didn't. We were married for 7 years (you can guess what happened). I went through infertility treatment after 6 years of trying to get pregnant. I quit after 6 months of humiliation because it was apparent that my ex was sabotaging the whole process. 6 months later I got pregnant. I lost it at three months. A blessings, I guess, since the marriage ended shortly after. Now, I am married to a wonderful man who truly wants to have a child with me. I am 38, almost 39 years old. We have only been trying for a few months, but I am scared and frustrated. It totally seems like everyone I know gets pregnant without trying. I've been referred to an endocrinologist and believe me, this one isn't sabotaging it, not in the least. I guess, I want to wait a few more months though. But at my age, that's against all my doctors advice. I've just started grad school and won't be done until I'm 43 years old. I don't want to wait until then and it will be hard to be a mom and a student. But, we still want to keep trying. I feel between a rock and a very hard place.

frustrated

My husband and I are trying to have a baby of our own. Don't get me wrong i already have two. I first got pregenant at 17 and i wouldn't change it for the world. Two years later my son came along. There dads both bailed out on me. Now I have a great husband who loves my children completely. So does his family it is just that we want another one.
We have been trying for almost 18 monthes we have lost one and now it is like we just can't get pregnant. His family is all excited about us trying. But that just makes it worse.
He blames himself because i have had two babies and we haven't had one yet. The Dr. says just wait it will happen but it is takening forever. I just don't know how much more i can take. Things aren't the same since we started trying and a year passed. It just isn't fun anymore.
It just seems that when I finally have everything in order and going my way that i can't get the one thing that i want; but when my life was horrible icould and didn't even want it at the time i was still a kid. Pretty depressing if you ask me.

depo blues

I was on depo for almost four years. February 2007 was when I got my last shot. Just wondering when it should be when it will be out of my system and be able to be a real mom instead of being a mom to two dogs. It seems like everyone I work with if pregnant now and I'm hoping to "catch that bug" myself.

Similar situation

The same with me and my husband. My OBGYN has me doing the ovulation kits to see if I am ovulating... so far it does not look good. This is really obnoxious to me since the females in my family multiply like bunnies! And the family is not only wanting a baby from us but a girl would be especially exciting since the last 3 babies born within a 6 month succession were boys. Talk about no pressure!

Getting Frustrated

Hubby and I have been trying for almost 7 months now and still nothing. It hasn't really been that long, but it seems like forever. I am especially getting sick of people (mostly his family) asking us when we're gonna get pregnant or saying, "Don't you two have something to tell us?" It makes me want to scream some days. I don't mind so much when people we know ask us one time, but it bugs me when the same people keep bothering us about it. It's not like we're not trying. We want to get pregnant, but it just hasn't happened yet.

It has been bothering us more lately because hubby's sister and brother have both had babies recently and so have some of our friends. Hubby just turned 29 and I will turn 29 in January, so we are really hoping to have our first baby before we both turn 30.

It is very frustrating when you have been trying for awhile, and some days it seems like you are never going to get pregnant. This worries us both to the point that trying to get pregnant just isn't fun anymore, which is very discouraging and depressing.

It is good to know that we are not alone.
