Conception Frustrations?

I have been married for 5 years this september and my husband and I have been trying since then, NO LUCK, I got prego 1 time to 9 weeks and had a miscarriage! that was a year and a half ago. I am so FRUSTRATED. We have been to two different fertility doctors and both of them said we were both fine, "The sperm may not be passing the cervix" they said. So they did a IUI with no luck!! Now I promise 5 ladies I know are PREGO and I hate to say it but I am sooooo envious. I want to be able to conceive and have a baby as well. And it hurts so much when every month my husband is so convinced that he has succeeded in making a baby! UGH!!!! when will we be blessed!

It all started in December. Away with the pills and taking pt way too often. Am I pregnant or is my period late? Aunt flow always had been erradic. Months and months have gone by and no baby. Baby danced every 2 days(estimate) can't see how all those sperm could miss a little egg as much as we tried. July hubby took a sperm count test came back negative for 20 count sperm which means doctors would call him infertile enough to conceive a child. Although sperm count does not mean everything. Some stallions can't make babies while lesser stallions keep babies coming.

Last period started on the 22 of June. I scheduled a gyn visit to do a check up on me to see what was going on. I want to finally know why all my aunt flows have been irregular since teenager years. Took a couple of pt, still a big negative. At least without having a period gave me some hope of being pregnant. Now, today aunt flow comes to visit me. Still hope its implantion bleeding.

Some of the family are asking when they will have a grandchild, some want us to wait, and some people are just inconsiderate of my feelings. We have been trying for almost 9 months now and nothing to show for it but a lot of good loving.

How long is it gonna take?

Yes I totally agree. All my friends have children and I feel like the last one. It does get frustrating how easy it was for everybody else and how hard it is for me, I'm not old either I'm only 25. I do have some underlying problems that make it hard for me to conceive. I have a high prolactin level and I'm taking parlodel to lower it, I have been on it for about 2 months and my menstrual cycles are regular, it is just a matter of pinpointing ovulation. I don't want to get too obsessed by charting,using OPKS and taking temps. I haven't gotten to that point yet. So I'm just BDing and hoping it will happen

I feel the same way right now. My husband and I have been trying since March too....but nothing has happened. Part of me is getting worried and I don't know if there's anything else we should be doing differently. Every once and awhile, I will get an insensitive person say..."Well, you are 30...you better get started." I find these comments insulting, since I didn't deliberately choose the life path that I'm on. Anyway, I feel conception frustrations, but I'm hopeful.

Yes i too have had these problems, My daughter will be 7 in october and we tried for 4 years after she was born to have another one. Finally i got pregnant, but lost it at 11 1/2 weeks. But to our suprise i was pregnant again about a month later. That time i was able to make it to 18 weeks before i lost him, then we wanted to wait. 11 months later i found out that i was pregnnat again. This time i made it to 14 weeks. It is very frusttraing becuase we have done everything humanly possible but still cannot have another child. We are running tests and hopefully in a year we will be bale to try with a little more success.

I'm so glad I found this site and hope it will help me relieve some of my frustrations! My husband and I have been trying a short 2 months to get pregnant but I am really nervous about the fact that he is diabetic and panic everytime I have to use the bathroom (during the time I should get my period)praying that I don't get it. Who knew getting pregnant could be so stressful? I guess when I was a young child I just thought that I'd get married and have babies...life doesn't always work out the way you planned it...does it?
