Conception Frustrations II?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

One year TTC

With my first 2 children, they were surprises. In 2002, at the age of 21, I was told I had so much scarring in my fallopian tubes that it would virtually impossible to conceive. One year later, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy! I then went on BC just in case. Fast forward to 2006, I decided to go off BC because I wanted to test fate, I guess. Voila! Piece of cake! Baby #2 was born the following year. I then decided on the IUD. I had it for a year and had nothing but trouble with it. We had it removed. It is now one year later with NO form of BC whatsoever! DH and I want at least one more baby then we're finished but it seems like it will never happen! A few times, AF has been late but I tested negative. We got our hopes up for nothing. The last few months, I've tried to convince myself to NOT try anymore and let it be but my mind always gets anxious a few days before AF is due. This is the hardest thing. All of my friends are having babies and I see pregnant women everywhere and the EPT commercials seem to LEAP out at me. My cycles are normal so maybe God just isn't ready for us to have another.

TTC and becoming VERY FRUSTRATED!!!!!

ok ladies here we go! i am 24 and my husband is 27 so you would think that ttc would be soooo easy for us right? well its not back in march 2009 my husband found out he had a tumor in his petuitary gland(brain) so he had surgery and had it removed. After the surgery we found out that the petuitary gland controls your hormones and everything so after have some blood work done we found out his sperm count and testosterone were very low :( so he has been on medicine since then. We thought everything was back to normal b/c we were doing th BD but every month we werent getting pregnant. recently we went to the doctor to find his count was still pretty low so he has been on injections. to me it seems like things are improving drastically, but still every month is another upset. we both are begining to become very frustrated and at times i want to just give up. and it really doesnt help that all of my friends and cousins my age are working on baby #2 and here i am struggling with #1. Im trying not to think too hard when ovulation time comes around but i cant help it. i dont want to push too hard because that takes all the fun out of ttc. Maybe there is something we are not doing right.......I NEED HELP!!!!!!

PCOS & Trying To Concieve

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd post up a thread after, yet again, not getting my period this month. I would love to hear if anyone is in a similar situation/stage of TTC as I am.

Last month (November) I thought I had "spot bleeding", as my period only lasted 1 day and it was very light. I started to suffer from a couple of common early pregnancy symptoms, and became adamant I was finally pregnant. However, two pregnancy test later, I still got BFN's and instead, got a stomach virus. (Hence the cramps etc that I was suffering).

This month, my period was predicted on my Cycle Chart as being due on the 7th December, making me 6 days late today.

My partner and I will be 3 years married come July and would love to have a child to bring up in our loving new home. All we want for Christmas, is a big fat positive.

My periods were pretty regular (every second month) up until I found out I had PCOS in March. I tried to stick to a PCOS diet, which would help my insulin levels, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I'd LOVE to think I am pregnant this month, but I just don't think I would be that lucky. I have just celebrated my 24th birthday, and want to take my mind off TTC and enjoy the build up to Christmas. I just pray my PCOS is not getting worse.

A new year is ahead of us, and we will continue to hope and pray for our own little miracle.

Ovarian cyst, CD 41 and so frustrated

I was diagnosed with a 4cm cyst on my left ovary last thursday on top of having elevated prolactin levels for the past 5 months. I have not gotten AF yet. i am on CD 41 and i still hold a small hope that maybe i O'd late and may be pregnant... I took a $1.00 test on wednesday and it was negative. I am thinking about buying another test just to make sure. Its frustrating me to pieces... I woke up early this morning and got sick twice. I cant find much on google that has to do with a positive pregnancy test this late into the cycle. I hope i still have a chance!!!!!!!!

how long to get pregnant??

Hi, new to site. have been off bc for a month now. Had a pretty normal menstral cycle this month. Everything was pretty much by the book. Was wondering if being on bc for 13 years, and being 31 will have an impact on how long it will take to get pregnant again? The research I have veiwed online says that even if your first cycle coming off bc is normal, the next ones can be haywire? Also age is a factor, even at 31? Thanks
