July, 2022 - A study just realeased, comprised of 39,000 respondents, indicates that for those with regular menstrual cycles, 42% experienced heavier than usual periods after Covid vaccination, 12% had lighter periods, and 44% had no period flow changes. Find out more:
As noted in the article on Yahoo, this study follows a previous one addressing menstrual cycle length changes after Covid vaccination. In that study, the changes were determined to be temporary, lasting one or two cycles. However, no specific mention is made in the write-up of the period flow study about the duration of the irregularity.
