Question
What is the difference between Seasonale and the even newer Seasonique?
Answer
They are the same medication in the first 84 active pills which are taken consecutively,
but they differ in what happens in the next 7 days.
With Seasonale, there are 7 totally hormone free pills (placebos), whereas in Seasonique
those 7 pills contain a tiny bit of estrogen only (10 micrograms of estrogen, no progesterone).
