Question

How is Yasmin different from Yaz

Answer

Yaz is made of the same exact type of estrogen and progesterone as Yasmin, it just contains less estrogen than Yasmin (20 instead of 30 micrograms of estrogen). Less estrogen may be better for women who get nausea or breast tenderness, but less estrogen may cause more break through bleeding in some patients.
