Worst Aunt Flo Show Time

Wdding Night Blues...

I had recently gone off birth control in April because my DH (now)and I wanted to TTC after our wedding in June. My cycles were not regular yet, and lo and behold, guess who showed up on my wedding night? Right after we cut the cake, I ran to the bathroom tampon in hand! To make things worse, I was so bloated and crampy that I couldn't wear my wedding dress the rest of the night! :-( My dream wedding dress that I had bought custom made from China! The dress felt too tight during this "wonderful time" and I couldn't breathe. I ended up changing into one of my bridesmaids dress until my mom came back from my house with a new "flowy" dress. And to TOP that (yes it gets worse!), as a wedding gift a bridesmaid booked a hotel for us that night, and decorated it with rose petals and candles and all sorts of romantic stuff. There were actual rose petals leading us to our hotel room! It was so sweet. Needless to say, my night ended with me in the jacuzzi taking out and counting the bobby pins I had in my hair! 87..LOL

Worst Aunt Flo Show Time

AF swimming

Well, when i was younger i lived with my mum and brother and sister, and i visited my dad and baby brother (who lived abroad) once a year. I was pretty new to AF so i didn't bring any precautions and one day when we were going to go swimming, my baby brothers first time. she showed up and i not only couldn't go swimming for the first time with my brother but i had to explain to my dad that i had AF visiting.

Worst Aunt Flo Show Time

In Hawaiian Paradise

I went to Hawaii for the first time and planned on Snorkeling. My DF and I had been TTC and my cycle was 4 days late. On the morning I was going to a reef with carnivorous fish my cycle started that morning. I stayed shore side. Thanks Aunt Flow. Upside that was May 8th. I saw the DF Memorial Day weekend. He hit the nail on the head. 5 weeks pregnant and counting :)

Worst Aunt Flo Show Time

school district mass

I was still new to AF when i had the worst ever. I was in junior high (I think 7th grade), and went to a private school. Of course i was required to wear khaki pants and happened to be in the choir for the yearly all-private school mass for the local school district. So, not only was I sitting in the front pew, but i also had to stand up in front of not only my entire school, but also 4 or 5 other schools including teachers. And i was NOT expecting AF to show that day, so i was not prepared for the mishap. Needless to say, i quit singing in front of large groups.

Worst Aunt Flo Show Time

1 Year wedding anniversary

My husband joined the Navy shortly after we got married. He had finished boot camp and was in his A-School when I went to visit him for our 1 year wedding anniversary. Wouldn't ya know it, the day before, my AF showed up. Ugh!
