| When Did You Decide Baby Names? |
Within two months of meeting |
| When my now-husband and I were dating... actually, within the first two months we knew each other (started dating two weeks after we met) we had picked out two girls' names and two boys' names. We still talk about our future children using two of those names - we are hoping for a boy and a girl, so for example we'll see a father playing catch with his son in the park and I'll say, "That's going to be you and Charlotte some day." |

8 Names |
| In August 2004, I began dating my now husband in college. Not even 6 months later we began talking baby names. We made a list of 8 name. Four first and middle names for girls, and four first and middle names for boys. We were married in May 2010, but don't want to start trying for children until next year. We still like those 8 names we picked out and plan to use at leat 6 of the 8. |

| When Did You Decide Baby Names? |
Arguing over names |
| After we found out we were having a boy (which I would've sworn up and down was going to be my little princess) my husband and I fought about the boy name until I was around 8 months. I liked Ryder at the time and he (god help him lol) wanted to name our son Rowdy. I told him no up front about Rowdy because I felt like the name would taint him for life. Then one day out've the blue he came up with the name Canden and called me. I didn't love it at first but was finished arguing about it, plus I figured i'd get my way after he saw me go through labor. Well it stuck and Canden is now 4. I LOVE his name. It fits him so well. Its different too, since it was made up. We gave him a nice and normal middle name incase he gets sick of people misspronouncing his first name which happens a lot. They miss the n usually and mistake it for caden or camden. Ooh well. It works for us. Thank goodness after all the arguing over names with Canden we already have a boy and girls name set for the next bundle of joy God willing. Good luck to everyone ttc! |

Have lots of girl names...but no boys! |
| My husband and I are currently 21 weeks pregnant, we have 2 girl's names, Emma or Brooklynn, ( i love them both), and for a boy we are lost! We have discussed the name Benjamin, but the more i hear it, I dont really want it.
We currently don't know what we are having but it is probably gonna be a boy b/c we cant decide on a name lol.
Any suggestions would be awesome, I know we still have 18 1/2 weeks to go before we meet the little baby but it would be nice to have some idea of what we may call a boy!
Thanks guys! |

help me cope with the name my sister picked out. |
| So I have a sister that is pregnant and I really don't like the name she picked out. Her baby turns a year old on feb 4 (tomorrow) and her name is madison. well my sister is having another girl in may, and the name her and her husband have picked out is madilynn. I disagree with their decision because the names are so close to each other. any advice? |

| When Did You Decide Baby Names? |
Out of time so taken out of our hands! |
| We did not name any of our three children til after we looked at them and held them. For the first two boys, we kinda had a "short list" but since we didn't find out the sex til delivery..it was extra special making sure the names "fit" the faces. Our third child, I was sure was son number three and was prepared with a boy's name. HA! Along came daddy's girl and much indecision. Finally when push came to shove and five days later when the hospital was ready for us to go home and there was still no name on the birth certificate, two shifts of nurses at the nurses station took a poll. They asked everyone that passed by that might have an opinion. I still have our sweet Emma Elizabeth's "tally sheet" in her baby box. Ironically, it worked out perfectly and fell in line with the family names we gave the two boys. |
