No Periods, Less Periods
Period suppression is currently a very hot topic. Will you (or do you already) take prescription meds to stop your period, or to have less periods a year? Why or why not?

Life's not that bad!!!!

I don't think any of us actually enjoy periods, however they are natural and they happen for a reason. I guess those of us trying for babies need periods because we need the cycle, but it is us who hate periods more than anyone as it means failure once again. Ladies, especially those younger girls, don't mess with your bodies as you have no idea what the future holds and what disruption you may be causing to your bodies. Please don't misinterpret what I am saying, I am a scientist and understand drugs, but coming off the normal contraceptive pill which allows you to have a period every month, can have an effect making you have to wait for a year after stopping taking it before you can actually become fertile again. Periods are as old as the human race, just think yourselves lucky with regard to all the new facilities we have now, our grandmothers and their mother had to use rags. Now surely a couple of days with tampax has to be 100 times better than just 1 hour with crumpled up rags of fabric in your pantaloons!!!! there are a lot worse things in life ladies, so please don't mess with your bodies unless you actually have a medical condition which a professional needs to treat.
