I'm Pregnant!
When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

The pee didn't have time to dry!

I told him as I was taking the test!
On Feb. 8, 2005, my period was not quite 2 weeks late, but this isn't a big deal as I have long periods anyway. On Jan. 26, 2005, I had an outpatient surgery and the nurse tested me for pregnancy, and the result was negative. So all of the symptoms ? swollen, tender breasts, increased irritation, increased urination from the start, a feeling of being bloated ? I attributed to a really bad case of PMS. I also remember that I love coffee and suddenly I was feeling an aversion to it, and I also got this sense of peacefulness sometimes during a stressful moment, which still seems really weird to me. But anyway, a girl I knew from work told me that I could be pregnant when I told her how stressed I was feeling and my period was late. I kept telling her I was not pregnant because of the negative test, and she urged me to test again from home. I finally told her I would just to prove to her that I wasn't pregnant LOL. So on Feb. 8, I drove to our local Wal-Mart to get an oil change in our car and to do some shopping before my husband showed up in his truck to take me home. I picked up an Equate pregnancy test. We drove home and I did the test, and the control line didn't show up at all!! But in the test line area, there was a pink smudge. It made me really suspicious, and my husband said later that he knew after the first test that I had to be pregnant. So when my husband and I went back to get my car, I got a First Response pregnancy test 2-pack and we took it home to test. I went to the bathroom and immediately there was a pink line in the test area. My husband came in and looked at it as soon as the pink line was visible. The next morning I took the second test, and got a positive, and rounded out the testing by going to my OB/GYN for a third test, which was of course positive.
