I'm Pregnant!
When you found out you were pregnant, how long did you wait until you told dad-to-be? How did you tell him and was he the first person you told? Did everyone react as you expected?

My husband knew before I did

My husband and I had recently moved across the country to a new base. Moving is always stressful and this move was not under the best of circumstances. A lot of stuff went wrong and I figured my period was late due to stress. Two random women, on in the BX (Base Exchange, sort of like a mini Walmart on base) and one in Sears, told me (within a week of each other) that I looked pregnant and asked me when I was due. I chalked it up to the stereotype that military wives are always pregnant. My husband, however, got me a pregnancy test after the second woman asked when I was due because he said that two completely random strangers could not be a fluke. I peed on the stick, laid it on the bathroom counter, and went downstairs while he stayed in the bathroom to look at it and check the time (it said to wait a maximum of 10 minutes for the result so we thought we'd wait the whole time to see what it said instead of analyzing it right away...or so I thought that was what we agreed to). He said 2 lines showed up instantly but he waited the full 10 minutes to tell me in case one was an evaporation line and it disappeared or something so technically he actually knew I was pregnant before I did!
