Conception Frustrations?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Can you say frustrated?

Posted by: Shasta on Wed Jun 18, 2008
I know that for some people my story seems like nothing but I personally find it frustrating. I am 22 years old and my husband and I have been married for just about two years now and we have never used birth control (it was if it happens it happens)but a year ago we decided to give it a honest try. So I went out and got a fertility monitor and I take a test every morning of the month and time things perfectly!!! it has now been a full year and nothing; not even a false alarm. My husband refuses to get fertility tested which in itself is frustrating as if it is a fertility issue I would like to know sooner rather than later.
And I can totally relate to the comments from family members, my mom always asks for a grandchild for Christmas, birthday, etc. while every time I talk to my dad he repeatedly points out that we should have children for at least 5 more years (urg! we both have successful careers with the government and own our house with a nice big backyard and have the income base needed to raise an infant).
Thanks for reading the rant!!
