SAHM or Working Mom?
Did you (or will you) stop working and be a Stay at Home Mom (SAHM)? Why or why not? Any regrets in your decision, like do you find yourself wanting to go back to work, or in the middle of a meeting do you wish you were home instead? What would you tell other mom-to-bes who are considering being a SAHM - do it or not?

Growing up, I never understood SAHM's. Why in the world would you want to stay at home, clean the house, take care of the kids, do all the errands, appts, groceries and cook dinner & take care of your husband when he comes home? And be COMPLETELY dependent on your husband?! It was beyond me, and I swore that would never be me.
Here I am now, with a 4 year old, and how my outlook of the world has changed! I love nothing more than to be home bonding with my child, ensuring her safety, development, and giving to her what so few kids have nowadays. I love to be home when my husband comes home from a hard day of work, with a hot plate of food and be a supportive constant. The housework isn't bad cause you keep up with it. I found I love cooking, but for the days I don't, my crockpot or a ready made meal are just as good. I realize he's just as dependent on me as I am on him. It's a partnership. He's completely supportive of me returning to school and the workforce to pursue my goals when I'm ready as well.
