Anyone have any experience with iui..?

My husband and i have a dr appointment with our fertility dr in about 2 weeks ..in this appointment he will be recommending iui which will probably happen just after ...i will be put on clomid and then we will wait for the appointment ..

Has anyone out there had an iui or can anyone give me any advice ...on what to expect ...im feeling down and just need a bit of a pick me up .
