TTC After M/C

Are you trying to conceive after one or more miscarriages? How long did you (or will you) wait until TTC again? Who or what has been helpful to you during your difficult time: faith, the support of your partner/friends/families (or did you find them unable to relate?), others who you now found out also m/c'd...

Limbo

Yes and no for me... It's been a year and a half since my husbands and I last (2nd) m/c. My first m/c happened so fast about 5 weeks and so close to Christmas that I don't think I let effect me much emotionally and we ttc about three months after, got pregnant on the first try. I carried that pregnancy for about 11 weeks before we realized it was a blighted ovum. I was so attached by that point...I had a lot of female problems after that... I was chemically pregnant for two months fallowed by some noncancerous cyst...I had/ have no support from family and friends... Hum...I take that back I had a couple of my friends but they were ttc as well so I didn't want to dump this on them. All I had was my husband who works 12 hour days 6 days a week, and my beautiful healthy two year old to help me through those tough days. Had not been my child needing I would have had no reason to get out of bed...The miracle of children goes beyond conception. In the last six months I've gotten in athletics just to get my focus on what my body can do instead of what my body hasn't done. Now I am in great shape and feel really good about my accomplishments...I feel like I am limbo...There are new goals I'd like to see myself complete and yet every cycle or new pregnancy of others I feel so empty. I have a doc apt tomorrow and will discuss my fertility. I am hoping for the best...

Cycles After Miscarriage?

I had my first m/c on July 25th (about 5 weeks pregnant). I only bled for a few days and haven't had anything go on since. I've had two previous pregnancies that were perfect and have 2 little girls. It's been about 2 1/2 weeks now and my husband and I haven't been doing anything to prevent getting pregnant again. (We were trying for #3.) Any ideas when I should expect my period again. It's frustrating not knowing when I should ovulate again. I have a 34 day cycle as it is. Any idea how long until I'm back to normal? What are the chances I'd get pregnant again before I even have a period? We had been trying for 4 months when we got pregnant. It took 5 months with my second. I know it's not long in the grand scheme of things but it is still frustrating. Thanks!

TTC after stillbirth & short cycles - questions...

Hi - I'm new the the community, I hope I am not posting this question in the wrong place.

In January, our second child was stillborn at full term - its been the most devastating experience of our lives. There are no clear reasons as to why and the pregnancy was otherwise normal. Our first pregnancy was completely normal and so we have one healthy, happy child and one sweet baby angel. Its now been 6 months since our baby died and we are thinking about starting the TTC journey again this fall.

I've been tracking my cycles very closely since my period returned about 7 weeks after delivery. Cycle day lengths list follows (newest to oldest):

23, 27, 17, 24, 23, 23

I plan to ask our OB/Gyn at our next appt next month about the short cycles - but wondering if anyone else experienced short cycles after pregnancy loss (MC) or stillbirth?

Any help is appreciated.

Baby asprin/progesterone can help?

My husband and I suffered two miscarriages in 2007. We decided to try again in 2010. I have begun to start thinking about trying again and have some questions.

1. Is there a way to tell if a baby asprin everyday during pregnany is right for you?
2. My progesterone levels are always low when I was pregnant and someone told me I should start taking progesterone when I was trying to get pregnant. Has anyone heard of this?

I thank you all in advance! Trying again makes me so scared and nervous I am not sure I can go through with it again. Your support would be very welcome to me.

Trying again after an Ecotpic Pregnancy

I had a miscarriage at only 6 weeks...not just a regular one though. Turns out the baby had been forming in my left tube and then miscarried so the following days and weeks were full of tests and appointments...even know, 3 months later I am still having to go for ultrasounds and follow ups..it's very discouraging.
The doctor gavve us the ok to try and again, so this is our first month trying. I have been charting my temps and am aware of my ovulation times..

I find that Im scared now to get pregnant. I really want to, and I am ready to be a mom...but I am terrified to get pregnant again because there is now a higher chance for yet another tubal pregnancy to occur and I don't know if I could take another one..

Has anyone been in the same situation?
