When do you take a pregnancy test?

after my first child my dr. put me on nuvaring because i wasnt getting my periods. well nuvaring regulated me and i was on it for 10 months. in april i decided to take it out and start trying for another. well i got my period in may and i have not gotten my period yet this month i am actually 10 days late. i took 2 tests and both were negative- whats going on?? i need some advice!!!!

ok ladies here it is, i was on depo for nearly 10 years, i had my last injection in sept of 2007 and decided in december that i would not renew.well i got my first period after the missed shot in february. and it came right on time in march, april and may. my cycle was supposed to start 8 days ago and nothing yet, my boobs hurt and i have had slight cramping. bc i have been on the depo for so long i know that my hormones could still be adjusting but do you think it's too soon to take a test or could i actually be pregnant???

well, ever since my fiance and i have been trying i test early. i have that syndrome one of the girls on here talked about, POASS-pee on a stick syndrome. now, i'm not that bad. i usually test and leave it alone and it eases my mind and AF shows up as usual. i want to be preggo, but i was on depo for a year so i'm very discouraged about getting preggo within the first year. this month i'm 5 days late and tested neg at two days late. my last period was 25 april so, i should have started on the 25th of this month. i have started as late as the 1st, but that was 4 months ago and since then i've had normal periods. i had some slight spotting during this month. a week after my last period which my mom wrote off as old blood-so did my best friend who's had two kids. and then about a week before my regular period was supposed to start. i thought maybe that was the period, but, it was pinkish, very very light (as in it was only there when i wiped) and only lasted 1 day. so i'm going to take the advice of a lot of girls on here and just continue to wait until the two week mark, or aunt flo shows up.

I am TTC and 5 days late. I feel certain that I could take a HPT and know for sure one way or the other. But instead I put it off, I almost can't bear another BFN. This weekend is our anniversary and it would be so amazing to find out that we are excecting. Since I'm doing all the typical TTC things, prenatals, no caffiene etc I'd almost rather wait another week or so to test just incase it's negative I don't want it to bring us down on our anniversary! I'm just trying to stay positive, God Will Provide. Thanks for listening.

Unfortunately I am one of those women that starts testing way to early. I usually start 9DPO. That is horrible, I know but I go crazy during the TWW. I believe that I want it so bad that I just cannot control myself, and I spend so much money on pregnancy tests it is not even funny.

Last month I got AF and I still tested hoping that it was implantation. Of course, it was not. It is better if you wait till at least 12DPO. The disapointment that I get is so intense only seeing one line every day, sometimes twice a day.

I could not wait until my two weeks were up so I tested early. I tested 9 DPO and I got a BFP!!! I was 21 days into my 25 day cycle. I thought it was too early, but I guess not. I have tested everyday since then except for today to make sure I wasn't going crazy and same results everytime. We are so excited and can wait to meet our new baby. My kids are more excited then we are I think. They really want a baby sister (I have all boys). Well see!!!
