When do you take a pregnancy test?
At what point during your cycle do you take a pregnancy test? If you are trying to conceive do you wait the Two Week Wait, or do you start testing earlier? Or, if you're not trying to conceive, how late are you when you start testing?

The long wait!
Yeah, I try too wait too. It's really hard though. AF is due tomorrow and i have had all sorts of signs over the past few days (which are probably all in my head!)
I keep telling my partner that I want to do one hoping that he insists and that I can blame him if it's neg. lol.
Anyway fingers crossed for me and any others who are ttc.

Testing
I try to wait until I have missed my period. Although it is hard to wait you will get a better result and you won't be wasting money.

Personally :) If im ttc, i test the 4 days earlier than a missed period and pretty much every day from then until either i get a BFP or AF!!!
If im not ttc, i usually wait the week after AF is due then test.

do the two week thing!!!
Well, i would wait the two week thing even though it may be hard because you don't want to wait, but you don't want to take it too early and get a negative when its possitive either.

Wait a little while!
Before having my daughter, I didnt have any symptoms that would cause me to believe I was pregnant other than a late period. To make matters worse, I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative the first time around.
Now that I am trying to concieve again, I am not going to test until a few days after a missed period!

i personally have done both. its sooo hard to wait 2 whole weeks. i had went to see my mom and told her over the phone i might be pregnant. when i got to her house she had bought me a hpt. she made me take it because she was so excited. but in the end i was disappointed because it was a BFN! i have taken 3 more test since then and its still a BFN. i had my antie flo 1 week early and it was not a normal one, very light and spotty? implantation bleeding, miscarriage or just a abnormal period?
i think if you know your monthly cycles and have a good idea when you should test i say go for it but keep in mind that the hormones take a while to be detected by hpt.
