Contraceptive Choices
tried and true
I started with and after several switches, I'm back to taking Ortho Tricyclen... I've tried several others and have bad experiences with those (spotting, extra moodiness, irregular periods, etc) The regular old ortho tricyclen has been tried and true for me and I have no complaints about it.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo
I just got off of my pill a couple months ago, but I was on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for 3 years. I never had any problems with it and barely even knew I was on it...as far as I know anyways. My periods were always when they were supposed to be and were shorter and more managable. So it was pretty grand! :) I only got off of it because I am ttc.

Birth Control Choice
I use the Mirena IUS, I just started about a month ago and so far I love it. No pills to remember and it last for five years. It can be removed whenever you like. It also made my period lighter and without cramps.

Contraceptive Choices
copper IUD
I'm 22 and have had the copper IUD (Paraguard) for a year now and I love it!!
Pros: There are no hormones, it lasts up to a decade and it's low maintenance... No pills to take or products to remember to change or insert.
Cons: My periods are a little longer and heavier, but that's it.
Also, getting it inserted wasn't as bad as everyone says. I felt a little cramping but it didn't hurt. And as soon as I decide, I can have it removed by my doctor.

Highly Recommend this Birth Control
I use Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. It's much like Ortho Tri-Cyclen but with less horomones which is better for you. I have never experienced any side effects. It helped clear my face up, I have short, light periods and it has helped with cramps a lot. I've been on it since it came out and I have no complaints.
