Conception Frustrations II?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

why does it have to be so hard?
hello everyone. I'm feeling really down today. My mind had convinced my body that i was pregnant so when AF arrived this morning i nearly lost it. I know i havent been TTC for very long (AF started again sep 8th after a year of waiting. last depo shot was aug '09) but it already seems like ages. one of my sisters got pregnant with twins 6 months after depo and another one of my sisters got pregnant by getting her shot 2 days late. To make matters even worse a 19 year old girl i work with just found out she's pregnant and is seriously considering abortion. It just seems like everytime i turn around someone else i know is getting pregnant unexpectedly and here I am doing everything i can to get pregnant and its just not happening for me. I am so frustrated that i just want to cry and give up.

Not end of world, but can feel like it
I think the most frustrating thing for me is people have a way of trying to make you feel better, by saying "well you can always adopt" or "there are so many people that have been trying a lot longer than you"...and while those things are true, it doesn't necessarily make me feel any better at this time. What I end up feeling is guilt for feeling sad about my situation. I think its normal, at any stage of TTC to feel sad when you take the test and it's negative. I have to work on that, allowing myself to feel sad, but not wallowing in it..without feeling guilty. It's not the end of the world, but it can certainly feel like it sometimes.

TTC.!
Hi, I've been ttc for quite sometime now. I got on depo after I had my first child back in 06. I got my last shot in Sept of 08. I got my periods shortly after that. At first they were everywhere and then they became regular. I have been regular for a while now I just don't know why its taking me so long to conceive.

TTC for 3 1/2 years
My husband and I have been TTC since June of 2007. We've gotten pregnant twice now, but unfortunately neither of them made it past a few weeks. I have PCOS, I've tried serophene and nothing, I was on Metphormin for a year and a half and all it did was make me sick and make my hair fall out. Now everyone is passed the point of telling us to stop stressing and it'll just happen, to telling us, well you can always just adopt. Like that is the most natural thing in the world. but the thing is if they had been in my shoes, they woiuldn't feel that way. Does anyone else notice it's the women who have a bunch of kids that are the biggest experts on infertility? So now we're trying a new suppliment called Estro-sense and we're crossing fingers that this one works.
