Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Conception Frustrations?

Will there be a #2?

My hubby and I have been TTC for almost a year now, with no luck whatsoever! It's very frustrating...it seems like everyone around me is getting pregnant, with hardly having to try at all! My mum and my grandma both told me when they decided to have their second (I already have a two year old) all they had to do was think about it and they were pregnant. I didn't go back on birth control after my daughter was born because I knew we wanted another one after a year or so. My cycles come every 6 weeks...I'm not sure if this is normal, if I'm still ovulating or what! The great grandma's are always asking if we're adding a #4 yet...one of my friends has discovered she was pregnant and already had her baby, all with us still trying! A few more of my friends are preggo now, and I'm convinced they will have their babies before I get pregnant again...

Trying not to get stressed out over this, didn't want a huge age gap between my kids...so very ready to just give up!

Frustrated

I am currently on my second month Clomid. On top of the devestation of not being able to conceive, I am dealing with constant mood swings from the medication. It seems to make coping much harder. My friends seem to be popping up pregnat. I feel like an awful person because I am happy for them, but at the same time it breaks my heart. I don't think I can handle any more advice from people that don't know how hard this is. I am almost to the point where I don't even want to be around people. I am wondering if anyone else can relate of if this is completely abnormal??

fed up!

I am very frustrated! My husband and I have been ttc for nearly 3 years and in that time i have had 2 early miscariages. We have a 4 year old son which I fell pregnant with on the pill!

Its really hard sometimes especially when everyone around me seems to be having babies! It doesnt help either when my son keeps begging me to give him a brother or sister and even offered to "buy it for me"!! I have only just found this website and am hoping it will help!

Its nice to know there are other people out there that know what I'm going through. Thinking of having it looked into by the doctor but I hate the thought of being put through lots of tests only to find that we may never have another. Will just have to keep trying...

TTC AFTER A REVERSAL

We have been TTC for almost a year now and its starting to drive me mad! Each mnth I keep saying we will just let it happen and try not to think too much about it, but its just too difficult! Im 27 and never thought it would be so hard to fall pregnant, how wrong was I! Non of my friends who are lucky enough to have children, all fell pregnant pretty much straight away.

We do have the disadvantage of the fact my parnter had the snip after having children with his ex, which he had reversed when we decided to try. We were told it was sucessful and are now worrying it may not have worked. He is having another sperm count done soon, fingers crossed it will be ok, I will be deverstated if it isnt!!!

Has anyone been in the same boat with any advice they can give me?

Conception Disappointment

My husband and I have been trying to conceive again since I had an ectopic pregnancy with my twins in July 2007. It's just not going the way we hoped. I don't know If I'm not relaxed enough or what. I find it harder to conceive now since I only have one fallopian tube. What am I doing wrong?

Conception frustration!

Hi! My husband and I have been TTC for 3 years! I have been told I have POCS but have had no proof as yet, despite constant visits to my GP asking for scans, internals, bloodtests anything to prove wether I have them or not! Thay don't seem to undertsand that I need to know! All I get is "well if you could loose weight and stop smoking then that would help!" Like I don't konw that, have they stopped to think that if I got a proper diagnoses then I may be able to stop eating and smoking due to stress! My husband had a vasectomy reversal in 2005! which has left him with only 8%+ sperm count! so the odds are really stacked against us! It is sooo! hard to see all the young mothers about town!Everyone aorund me seems to be having babies! I would just love the chnace to be a mother just one!

Thinking of you all! good luck for the future!
