Conception Frustrations?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Husband's Longing Look

My DH and I have been TTC for four years now. We have been married for five years and have not prevented getting pregnant for six years. We were on Clomid for about a year and we decided to take a break from that because I needed a break from the hormonal roller coaster that it was putting me on. My husband has been extremely supportive. However, when I hear about someone being pregnant or having a child I want to be supportive and happy for them but at the same time it is disappointing for me because of how hard my DH and I have tried. It has been extremely hard when I see my DH looking at children playing and him saying how adorable they are and to see that look of longing in his eyes. How do you guys react to that and how are you supportive to your DH's and what do you say to your DH's when this comes about? I am supportive to my DH and when is the time to just give up. I am 32 years old and my DH is 38 years old. We have not ruled out adoption but would like to have a child of our own. I guess adoption would be an option down the road but just not sure down the road. Any ideas or suggestions or anyone else experience this with their husbands?

TTC after an unexpected loss

I have been TTC since about Feb 2008 Last November, I was on birth control but had some breakthrough bleeding. I ended up unexpectedly conceiving. I miscarried the baby in my 11th week in January. It was hard, but my husband was wonderful. We decided that we really wanted kids so we have been TTC since Feb- when I got an "all clear" from the dr. I chose not to do the D&C because I heard it could be harmful to your other pregnancies. I have been off birth control since November and am frustrated that it hasn't happened yet. I am 33, so the clock is ticking. Does anyone have any suggestions?

First time TTC... trying to be patient...

My boyfiend and I have been TTC for 2 months now. Last month was the first I started tracking and I never got a positive on the ov. test. Then AF was late and I thought... maybe... but I didn't want to get my hopes up. She came full fledged yesterday. My cycle was 38 DAYS LONG!!! JEEZ. I'm gonna buy a BBT today and start tracking as much as I can. I don't have any children yet and this is my first time EVER TTC. I'm learning quite a bit!

Not getting any younger....

I have 1 daughter who is 16yrs old, had her at a young age and since have not had success in the baby department. Her father and I tried for the 7yrs we were together for another, child. After that I was in a relationship for 4yrs and never did anything to prevent it and still nothing. Then while in my last relationship for 8yrs, we never tried to prevent it and I got pregnant 3yrs ago and didnt know it and miscarried, and havent been pregnant since this episode. Now, I am in a new relationship and we have been together for a year and a half and we are talking about marriage and he is talking about having children and I dont know what to think because of my past problems with getting pregnant. Also, he got hurt many yrs ago and only has one testicle and I'm thinking that may hender our efforts as well as my issues. I'm not getting any younger and worry that I may never be able to have a big family like I thought I would have one day??

Wacky cycles

With my 4 year old son I went off BC for one month and wham I was pregnant. We started ttc two cycles ago. I thought it was stable after going off BC in February, but then out of nowhere I get a 13 day cycle. I only have AF for two and half days and then she is gone. How am I supposed to know what is going on with my body with that crazyness. Ugh just so frustrated!
