Conception Frustrations II?

If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

TTC with evening primrose oil ?

ive had very irregular periods [41-50 day cycles] since i was 13, but i managed to conceive my now 3 year old son after a good while. my husband and i have been trying for our second child since mid september. a couple weeks back i went looking for something that might help regulate my cycle and help me ovulate when im supposed to. a local store carried something called evening primrose oil, ive been takin one pill twice a day since. just a couple days after takin them i noticed some breast tenderness, and yesteday [22nd day of my cycle] i started my period w/ a lot of cramping and a heavier flow than usual. my question is for any one who has tried "evening primrose oil" to conceive. is the breast tenderness and heavy bleeding normal? do these pills really work?

Low Progesterone Result on Day 21 Test?

My doctor scheduled me for a Day 3 and Day 21 test. My day 3 test for FSH was normal. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the lab for the Day 21 test until Day 23, but the doctor said to go anyways.

Now she wants me to go back next month for Day 19, 20, & 21 tests.

Has anyone been through this testing and talk to me about the low progesterone? (Besides the fact that I did the test two days later)

Your thoughts would be appreciated!

How to Answer When???

I'm 39 years old and just had my second IUI treatment. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for a couple of years now unsuccessfully. Heading into the Christmas season, I am dreading going to family reunions because I am bound to get that question. So, when are you and your husband going to have little ones?????

Any advice on how to answer the well-meaning question from relatives?

Ovulation test

I am trying to conceive for the past four months and am not successful. This month i started using the ovulation test kit and lets see what happens. My cycle length is 27/28/29 days, different at different times and on an average it is 28 days. So today is my 12th day and i tested, the result was negative, hoping for tomorrow.

Irregular Periods and TTC

Hello! This is my first post. I am hoping that I can get some advice. I have been off birth control for two years and TTC for two months. My periods are irregular. How do I figure out when I am ovulating when my cycles can be anywhere from 41 to 35 to 28 days long? I am frustrated because I really want to conceive, but I can't figure out when I am ovulating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Who knew--thankful for charting!

Thank goodness I started charting--I thought it was cumbersome at first, but I have since learned it was more than worth it! If I hadn't I wouldn't have noticed that my luteal phase is way too short (9 days). Now, I have a doctor's appointment where I will be armed with BBT chart printouts & informed questions, I've added vitamin B6 to my regimen, and I feel like at least I have a culprit to "blame" for not being able to conceive yet. Crossing my fingers that the next couple of months will prove to be more "fruitful". Good luck to all of you out there!
