Conception Frustrations?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

What is it with people???

I had no problem getting pregnant when I was 18...not planned at all and used protection faithfully. I even had a miscarriage 2 years ago while on an IUD. Now I have been married for a year and have been trying for a year and cannot get pregnant. We have tried the ovulation sticks, charting, taking temps, every position and legs up to my ears after even. We are already frustrated with the situation of NOT being pregnant...WHY DOES EVERYONE have to QUESTION us EVERY time they see me? Not both of us, just me. I mean it takes 2 to make a baby, why does the wife/girlfriend have to deal with the harrassment when she is the one with most of the emotional stress?

My doctor said to give it at least a year and a half since I was on birth control for 9 years. I understand that and I am trying to be patient...It's just not working now. What else is there that we can do???
