Comfortable with Condoms.
I solely use condoms (without nonoxynol-9). I had a prescription for the pill when I was a teenager, but decided never to take it. After much deliberation and research, I decided to avoid putting additional chemicals and substances into my body, especially those which alter my hormones. Of course, condoms are not the most reliable, and I've had a few pregnancy scares (one which turned into using the Morning After Pill - it was a horrible experience). However, I have friends that use a variety of products. A good friend swears by the trifecta - the pill, condoms, and additional spermicide. Her logic is better safe than sorry. If women are debating their options, my best suggestion is to fully research what you are using and both its side effects and effectiveness first. Lastly, I've known of situations where partners have pressured women to change their method of birth control. Stick with your gut feeling.
