Conception Frustrations?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Hope

I will keep all of you in my prayers. I am blessed with two little boys. My first pregnancy, I had a miscarriage. A few months later, I was ready to try again and it took over a year to get pregnant! Apparently, I had developed an infection after my D&C and it caused my fallopian tubes to be blocked. I saw an infertility specialist and I was scheduled for IVF for the following month. I had an HSG around the same time my IVF was scheduled and after that i was able to get pregnant...no IVF, needed! The HSG helped to clear some of the scar tissue to allow the sperm and egg to meet. I had a healthy baby boy.

I wanted to have another child as soon as possible because I was told the scar tissue could build back up again. When my son was 5 months, i conceived again; however, it was an eptopic pregnancy. (This was in January) The following Novemeber, I found out I was pregant with my second son and he was born in July. This was 2004. I know every condition is different and the heart ache seems to linger on each ...but there is always hope. new technologies and medical advances are allowing more and more couples to share in their dream of having a child of their own.
