Conception Frustrations?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

TTC - the early days

Posted by: v74 on Fri May 2, 2008
I know that in comparison with so many people that only 5 months of trying is nothing. However, my period arrives and I burst into tears!
The worst of it is, is that I met a friend recently and she advised me that she could not have some wine as planned because she was pregnant - not planned and one moment of contraceptive free madness. Why when we were younger were me so frightened to get pregnant and it was made out to be so easy. Its all enough to make you insane. I am trying to be calm about it all and rational but each time my period day approaches i get obsessed and oh so hopeful. I really admire people who have held it together for so long. Not sure how well I will cope.
