Well, for one thing, I make sure that I stay informed about my upcoming period. I drink extra h20 a few days before that time. On the first day, (which is generally the biggest killer for me) I, make sure to keep my temperature somewhat abnormally elevated (ie....spending time in the sun)it helps the circulation, and desolidifies the clotting effects. As someone who experiences extreme dysmenorrhea every few months, I also keep Pamprim multi-symptom around the house. It helps to have a great partner to help you deal with your symptoms....An empathetic friend, or lover can be very palliative during those hideous times of the month! As far as mood swings, just cry, or get angry, but only with things like the laundry, never with others...lol! Good luck Gals! luv jen
