Feminine Protection Usage
What was the first type of feminine protection you used - pads, tampons, menstrual cup? Do you still use the same feminine protection, or did you switch completely - when, why?
Cloth pads for me!

When I got my first period at age 12 I used disposable pads. Around age 14 I started using tampons. I took birth control pills for many years without a break and did not have a period, so I did not need feminine protection. Then at age 28 I got a paragard IUD (had horrible side effects to birth control and suffered far too long). I started using cloth menstrual pads because I feel they are better for women and the enviroment. It is gross to think how those disposable, plastic products stack up and sit in land fills forever and some even get into our oceans. Not to mention the chemicals used to make those items poison our bodies and the enviroment too. Since using cloth pads my body feels much better.
