Conception Frustrations?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

ttc for over a year, ovulating today and crossing my fingers

Posted by: Annabelle on Sat Jan 24, 2009
My husband and I have been ttc our first child for 13 months now. We've just completed our fertility work-ups and we're both fine. I'm not sure if that's good news or not, because now I have no idea why we haven't conceived yet. I just had my HSG this cycle, and am on clomid for the first time, too. I'm ovulating today, just started clomid, had my HSG (which they say may temporarily increase fertility), I'm taking vitex, and using pre-seed - so I really hope it works this time!

If I see my period next week, I will feel so completely crushed...maybe this time more thane ever, after ensuring we did everything right, it still wasn't good enough. That will just make me feel so miserable. Although my husband wants a child and would be SO HAPPY on the day I tell him about a BFP, my husband doesn't share my frustration - he doesn't feel bad like I do....I think he's in positive-happy-la-la land, where you don't have to try to concieve, it just happens when it happens. I do all the research and leg work and appointment making and hoping. I wonder if he's just trying to not add any pressure?
