I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I was 41 at the time with a 12yo daughter. I was not thrilled to be pg at this point in life. I then had a miscarriage. I was devastated. I didn't realize how much I wanted it until it was gone. I didn't even have time to tell daddy. I got pg again 13 months later and couldn't stop smiling. Still waited to tell daddy b/c he wasn't keen on having #10 of his own. Everything was going great, all the symptoms, sore boobs, tired etc. I really thought this one was going to stick. Went to first ultrasound at 12 weeks and no heart beat. Blood test revealed dropping hormone levels. Then the agonizing wait for my body to realize it was over. The worst time of my life. I never want to get pg again.
