Functional Ovarian Cyst

Last March I was experiencing some bleeding in between periods and brown spotting about a week before my period. My periods were also painful with lots of clotting. I went to my OBGYN and she did an ultra sound because she thought fibroids could be the culprit. No fibroids but I did have a small funcitonal ovarian cyst that she said was dissolving.

She put me on birth control pills. I was on the pill for about two months and then decided to quit because I didnt feel right about the fake horomones in my body.

So I decided to try acupuncture to regulate my cycle. IT WORKS!!! I have had regular, pain free periods for the past four months. If you are having issues please consider acupunture.

Anyone else have a functional ovarian cyst that caused break though bleeding??
