First time user of Clomid- What was your expeience?

I always have an unusual cycle, it will come one month and then nothing the next. Or that are 45 days apart or less. My DH and I have been TTC for quite some time now. I have been using the Clearblue Easy Fetrtility monitor for 4 months now so my GYN decided to try one other thing before sending me to a specialist so she just gave me a RX for Clomid. Can anybody give me feedback on their experience with this medication. I know what it is used for but I want to know what type of experience good or bad others have had with this.
