Brown Discharge, No Period, 4 days late, Negative Test

I'm an average of 25 days. I should have started my period on day 26, instead I got a brown discharge that lasted 2 and a half days, today is now day 30 and I'm testing negative. I'm not stressed out or anything, I am now worried if something is wrong with me. Or maybe the brown discharge was "my period"???
Anyone else have a similar situation? Is this normal?
