Conception Frustrations II?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

One year TTC

Posted by: ONEYEAR on Wed Dec 23, 2009
With my first 2 children, they were surprises. In 2002, at the age of 21, I was told I had so much scarring in my fallopian tubes that it would virtually impossible to conceive. One year later, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy! I then went on BC just in case. Fast forward to 2006, I decided to go off BC because I wanted to test fate, I guess. Voila! Piece of cake! Baby #2 was born the following year. I then decided on the IUD. I had it for a year and had nothing but trouble with it. We had it removed. It is now one year later with NO form of BC whatsoever! DH and I want at least one more baby then we're finished but it seems like it will never happen! A few times, AF has been late but I tested negative. We got our hopes up for nothing. The last few months, I've tried to convince myself to NOT try anymore and let it be but my mind always gets anxious a few days before AF is due. This is the hardest thing. All of my friends are having babies and I see pregnant women everywhere and the EPT commercials seem to LEAP out at me. My cycles are normal so maybe God just isn't ready for us to have another.
