Conception Frustrations II?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

Very Frustrated!!!

I am 35 and in Sept. I turn 36. My partner and I have been actively TTC since May '09. I had an HSG 2/10 and found out I had blocked tubes. That was so devastating but I was relieved that we found out so that we could fix the problem and move on. I had a laparoscopy 3/10 and my OB was able to unblock my right tube. She explained to me that I was able to get pregnant even though I had only one tube functioning, it was just gonna take us longer than usual. She gave me a return appt for 6 months. My thing is my age. I am so scared to wait that long because I know it is much more difficult to conceive after 35. I went to a healer (curandera in spanish)last week and she gave me a fertility massage and an herbal tea to drink until I conceive. She explained to me that it will help unblock my tube and also help with TTC faster. Only time will tell if this works. So my question for you ladies is do you think I should go see a fertility specialist and get a 2nd opinion or just wait the 6 mos. to see my OB? Baby dust to all TTC!!
