Early Signs of Pregnancy?
Think you could be pregnant? What early pregnancy signs and symptoms are you having? Have you taken one or more pregnancy tests yet (early pregnancy tests before your missed period, or after you're late...)? If negative, have you checked in with the doc yet?

False positive?

Has anyone experienced a false positive OR false negative on a pregnancy test? Here's what happened to me yesterday: I went to the clinic and they gave me a pregnancy test. It showed negative after the 3 minute timer went off, so the nurse said it was negative. A few minutes later, when I went in for my pap, the nurse came in and said that minutes after the timer went off, a faint positive line showed up. She tested again, same thing.
But the gynecologist told me that since their instructions say not to read anything after 3 minutes, the results might be false positives. During my pap she also noticed "blood spots" on my cervix, so she said I may be getting my period soon. I'm not sure if my period was due last Friday or this Friday, so the nurse said to come back in 2 weeks if I haven't gotten it yet.
HELP! Has anyone had a false positive or do you know what causes them? If I'm not pregnant, why would a positive line show up after the three minutes? I REALLY hope it was a positive positive! :)
