Conception Frustrations II?
If you're trying to conceive and it's taking longer than you had hoped, what frustrations are you running into? Is it that just about everyone around you seems to be pregnant? Or, something someone said? Or, is you-know-who (your mom, his mom...) pressuring you or asking when way too often? Does it sometimes feel like TTC is more like Trying to Cope?

I want to cry

Posted by: MamaJilly on Mon Aug 23, 2010
My husband and I haven't been ttc nearly as long as some people do yet I still just want to curl up and cry that it hasn't happened yet. We've been trying for just a few months but have been getting ready for it for about a year getting off of birth control, tracking my cycle etc etc.
This month I was sure I'd be pregnant I got what appeared to be spotting a few days ago. Than everything stopped but only for a day and now I have a light period.
Normally I wouldn't get upset over how long it's taking but when I saw my dr a few weeks ago he was actually concerned that we hadn't conceived yet because we have two girls and it hadn't taken us long at all to conceive them. I almost wish that my dr hadn't expressed his concern than it wouldn't upset me each month when it turns out I'm not.
Its just so frustrating especially when all of a sudden everybody we know is expecting. I actually broke down and bawled yesterday because friends of ours(well people my husband is close to at work), one of which is still married to her husband but is having an affair with another of our friends is pregnant! I just broke down at that, I love both of them but the fact that they're relationship isn't exactly kosher..just got to me and I want to throw in the towel!
