Ovulation Bleeding?

Posted by: Malyshka on Wed Dec 22, 2010
I just have a question for the girls that know anything about ovulation bleeding. I am suspecting that I have one...

Last June I began having two periods a month, sometimes only once a month. I was thrown off and thought it was due to traveling abroad and a gallbladder surgery that I had two weeks before my travel. However, it's been seven months, but I am still getting these weird periods. So I started to measure my BBT, and looked over all of my cycles since June. What I found out was that my BBT raised during one of my periods, and stayed higher till it fell down again before the next period. My periods also are normal one time, and the next time I can just get by with everyday pads, because the flow is very light, almost spotting for the most part.

I guess I could "diagnose" myself with ovulation spotting, but from what I read it says that usually ovulation spotting occurs for a day or two and has pinkish color. Well, mine lasts about 4-5 days, and has all kinds of colors: pinkish, brownish, and scarlet red (sorry, TMI).

If anyone has ever experienced something like this, please, share your story. I just hope it's not going to affect my TTC. I have visited a nurse before I started my own investigation, and she said I was okay. I will keep measuring my BBT, and after two more cycles I will visit another OB/GYN.

Thank you, lots of baby dust and Merry Christmas! May your baby wishes come true, girls!
